Mobile Digital TV

In today’s times of high tech mobile phones, certain things that you would expect to have would be GPRS, 3G compatibility, GPS etc. But how about a digital TV tuner included in your handset? That was almost unheard of, until the Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2010). Yes, while everyone is getting set for the Digital TV switchover, Mobile DTV devices are set to begin testing with consumers in Washington DC in the spring, with some going on sale by the end of the year.

However just like with HDTV, broadcasters seem to be waiting for availability of mobile DTV devices and of course for people to buy such devices. Good news for those who own Wi-Fi enabled phones like iPhone or Blackberries! You can enjoy this facility through Tivit which will help you transmit the mobile DTV signal to your phone!

Overall this is wonderful news which would surely excite the gadget lovers everywhere! The future of digital TV is very exciting with the advent of mobile digital TV!
